Demon Board is a retro grind-house film about a demonic talking board that grants wishes to unsuspecting users.Though it tends to change hands frequently, this talking board actually does have an owner; a demon, played by Jeff Cooper (Abberdine County Conjuror, Fortune Teller), who, through the talking board, answers questions and grants wishes... wishes that many will wish they had never made!
This demon assumes many forms throughout the film in order to carry out the wishes of the victims. I the first chapter, he becomes a grave digger, next, a pirate living in the 1700's, later he becomes Mathew Hopkins; the most notorious witch finder in England's History.
One of Jeff Cooper's early films, this was a no-budget feature that, amazingly, considering budget restraints, takes viewers on a journey through several different time periods, from the renaissance to the present, as the demonic talking board grants wishes.
Filmed on whatever cameras and equipment he could get his hands on, and using whatever talent he could find that would work for free, Cooper uses all of these disadvantages to his advantage as he puts together a low budget film that is meant to look and feel like a low budget grind-house film from the '70's.
