I had seen number of these comedians perform live in local clubs in Los Angeles, as they toured the country, and I am glad I found this DVD.
I especially love the insightful family comedy of Rajiv Satyal and Vijai Nathan. If you're Indian, then you can definitely relate to cheap parents, and the difficulties of the Indian dating scene. (This probably applies to many minorities!)
Vidur Kapur, the only gay Indian comedian I am aware of, is also very funny as he describes dealing with the conflicts that his sexual orientation and his culture bring into his life.
The least "Indian" of the group is Mark Saldana, and if you have sensitive ears, you may want to skip this chapter due to the language (though you'll miss one of the funniest jokes!).
Dalia seems to be the newcomer of the group, but her quirky brand of comedy kept me laughing. I just wish her part was a bit longer.
The production of the DVD is superb, with stereo sound, and widescreen format.

I bought this DVD after watching a couple of Russell Peters shows and I was hoping to get something on the same level. I was very disappointed when I watched this because it wasn't even remotely funny. The only decent comedian of the bunch was the final one, Vidur Kapur. The rest are very amateurish and exuded a lot of nervous energy which did not work well. I didn't see anything original or entertaining about this DVD and I regret buying it.
I'm sure there are videos of this on youtube. I suggest watching some of them before buying this DVD. I wish I did that myself.

"Indian Invasion Comedy" is a great example of what good stand up comedy should be - social commentary that makes us laugh at ourselves, regardless of ethnicity/
From Vidur Kapur's experiences as a gay Indian-American to Vijai Nathan's views on dating in America and Rajiv Satyal's insight into Indian family life, this DVD was very enjoyable to watch.

This collection of five Indian/American stand-up comics - three men and two women - is perfect, laugh-infested entertainment for Indian/Americans as well as stateside residents who are intrigued by the mystique of this South Asian culture. If neither of these descriptions fit, don't worry. It will also appeal to any man or woman who loves provocative and often x-rated laughs.
Though I suggest you check out the whole collection, I especially enjoyed Vidur Kapur's hysterical and poignant account of what it is like to grow up as a gay Indian-American (although most of your neighbors of Indian origin will tell you there are no gay Indians).
And, I insist that you watch Vijai Nathan!
Ms. Nathan's impressions of her parent's disapproval will sound familiar to any woman who's ever had a mother or father. And, there are plenty of jokes that appeal to both sexes. She has a way of leading you to a familiar place and then jolting you with a twisted outcome. A perfect example of this is her account of a conversation with her father about a time she once censored her show so that he wouldn't be embarrassed. You'll have to watch to discover her father's sage advice on this one.
Even as Ms. Nathan is making your ears do a double take, she is winning you over with her endearing stage presence, mischievous expressions and expert delivery. I expect that as people discover her talent, we will be seeing a lot more of her on Comedy Central.
Ms. Nathan can hold an audience in the palm of her hand and get the laughs as well as or better than the "big boys." Indeed, it would be justice to see her exposed to a wider audience, perhaps via a Jon Stewart-produced series of her own. After all, the King of Comedy Central always seems to find the best and the brightest talent. What do you say, Jon?

The dvd was funny. All the comedians were funny in there own way which made it all the more better. Hopefully there will be another tour.
