This workout is great! I am an avid exerciser and in great shape. The workouts on this DVD are very challenging. I would highly recommend this DVD for those who are looking to up their level of intensity. My only criticism is the long introductions that you cannot skip.

This workout is tough! I'm always dripping with sweat by the end of it and I consider myself to be in decent shape. I like Jillian because she's not one of those bimbo barbie instructors.

I bought this for a wedding I was standing up in. I had already been eating good and walking 2 miles a day. I just wanted to tone up and lose just a few pounds. I had 30 days till the wedding and I did this 5-6 times a wk. I read the reviews about it kicking your butt.. BOY IS THAT TRUE. I did have some choice words for Ms.Michaels during the video and after. But I stayed with it. If you have any specail accasion and you have 30 days and you want to look good BUY THIS!!! I didnt think it was realy working but my pants got losser, my shirts were not clinging to my tummy as it had before. I still sometimes dont think it is working but then I look in the mirror and see the differance. I started feeling really good when I went to go pick something up and someone said "WOW LOOK AT YORU ARMS!!" It is so great. Like I said I was already eating good. I keep my calories between 1245-1500 a day. Eat a lot of fruits and veggie, I was doing that 3 months before I bought the DVD. That w/ the cardio of walking helped some come off but not a lot fast. The only thing that I would advise anyoen that is thinking about buying this two things... One I do have Patellofemoral Pain syndrome on my right knee and cannot to a lot of the lunges fully and some of the cardio cuz its just to hard on the knee, you can still to the lower impact steps just be careful. You know yoru body and dont hurt yourself to do it fully, no shame in doing the less impact!! I would also mention that you should do some leg stretchs before the workout, with the jump rope, running in place, and plank jacks it works out your calves. STRETCH THEM OUT THEY DO NOT IN THE WARM UP. TAKE 2 MINUTES WHILE THE DVD IS STARTING AND STRETCH THEM OUT..!! You will be thankful you did. Over all great DVD my freinds and family want to get a hold of it but I wont let it go!!But I did buy one for them.. =-)

I was looking for a workout video that would give me results and one I could do at home without having to buy a lot of equipment to start. I came across this one while browsing the selections and what caught my eye was the "lose 20lbs in 30 days" claim.
I had never seen the Biggest Loser program or heard of Jillian Michaels but I did some research and found she was highly praised in the workout world. I have been doing the video now for 3 weeks and have just now moved onto the 2nd level. The workouts are very tough but cohesive so they move along quickly and are very easy to follow. The only equipment you need are some hand weights, 3 & 5 lbs and a mat if you are on a tile floor.
I definitely feel a higher level of endurance and my body feels stronger.
Now for the warning part. The only complaint or disappointment I have is the weight loss issue. I have not lost any weight & so far my measurements have not altered either. I found out after the video purchase that the weight loss claim is linked to a customized "diet plan" based on how much you want to lose AFTER joining JM's Official Site. The joining fee is around $120 a yr (if I calculated it right) and if you can afford this fee then I am sure it will work out great for you. I cannot so I've resorted to a "common sense" diet of my own design and hope to see some weight loss results soon.
Overall this video is a great home "workout" whether done alone or with other exercise. If you stay with it and do it every day as suggested you will feel a difference as I have even if you don't see one.

This is a great workout that totally gets my heart rate up, my muscles toned & brings my physical abilities to a new level.

Level one wasn't too bad except for all the pushups in the first circuit.

Level two lasted me a while and I was really proud of myself when I could finish it & not feel completely destroyed. The military press with leg extension & the V-raises were brutal as were the oblique twists & skaters. But it was a success to do them 100% and see my muscle tone come back into view.

The only thing I didnt like about levels 1&2 is that all the lunges tended to hurt one of my knees that has given me trouble in the past.

Level 3 is definitely a rise above the rest and I've only done it 2 times so far. The strength moves are based less on the weights and more on overall body strength- traveling pushups, jumping lunges (which actually didnt bother my knee as much which surprised me) so it challenges your entire body & is almost like doing cardio even though it's in the strength circuit.

My only concern is that after I conquer this 3rd level I will be looking for a new challenge. I do 25 minutes of Taebo beforehand and sometimes do another 25 minute Taebo ab workout afterwards, so I hope that is all enough for me to get in killer shape.

It's great to get such a good workout in the house (there is A LOT of jumping so if you have a squeaky floor or live above someone else it could be an issue for you), i'm not a jogger and I'm not interested in buying a cardio machine.

My only pet peeve about the video is sometimes Jillian says "almost there" and it keeps going and going as if she said it at the half-way point, so mentally I'm thinking we're about to change the exercise and we keep going much longer than expected which frustrates me.

But for 10 bucks - you cannot beat this workout. I'm totally glad I bought it.
